Later this year we will have the privilege of celebrating my Dad's 80th birthday. It will be so much fun to honor him and celebrate his life. He has been a great example to all of us. As long as I can remember my Dad has tinkered in the garden: his interests have been many and varied from propagating orchids, fancy ferns, and gorgeous roses. He also, as long as I can remember, has kept birds and bred many beautiful varieties of parrots, finches etc. I have always enjoyed watching my Dad work with his hobbies, and I truly appreciate my own interest in gardening as a direct consequence of his influence! So in honor of Father's Day this weekend in the USA, here is a peek at the invitation I designed for Dad's 80th, I can't wait to celebrate!
